The Story
Crafting confidence & celebrating you
I did not come to makeup through beauty trends. I came to it through drawing — through learning where light naturally falls on a face and what happens when you move it. That is still how I work: I look at bone structure, undertone and skin texture long before I look at a colour story.
I have worked with brides in five-star suites and in bedrooms with a single plug point and a window for light. Both taught me the same thing — the makeup is only as good as the prep underneath it, and the day is only as good as the temperature of the room you get ready in.
So my job is genuinely two jobs. One is technical: build a base that survives fourteen hours, blend an eye that reads across a hall, and finish hair and draping that sit right with your jewellery. The other is human: keep you fed, on time, unbothered by relatives, and looking in the mirror at somebody you recognise.

The Journey
A fine-arts eye and an obsession with skin. What started as doing faces for friends’ functions became a full apprenticeship in colour theory, facial structure and — crucially — how product behaves on Indian skin in Indian heat.
Professional certification in bridal and HD makeup, followed by advanced airbrush, hairstyling and saree/lehenga draping. Ongoing masterclasses every year, because formulas change faster than trends do.
Hundreds of brides across weddings, engagements, mehndis, receptions and destination events — plus editorial and campaign work that keeps the technique sharp and the eye modern.
A small, deliberate practice. I take a limited number of weddings per season so every bride gets a real consultation, a real trial and my full attention on the morning that matters.
What I Believe
I will never hand you back a face you do not recognise. The brief is always to make your features the loudest thing in the room.
Fourteen-hour days, monsoon humidity, tears at the vidaai. Products are selected for endurance first and prettiness second — though we get both.
No rushing, no crowding, no phone in my hand. The getting-ready room sets the tone for the whole day, so I keep mine quiet and on schedule.
If a reference image will not work with your face shape, your jewellery or your venue lighting, I will tell you — and then offer something better.
Deep, fair, olive, warm, cool. A base is only correct if it disappears at the jaw and reads true under flash, so shades are custom-mixed as standard.
Sanitised brushes, disposable wands, decanted product. Sensitive, acne-prone and reactive skin handled with care and patch-tested on request.
